Docked

Docked windows enable the user to select any of the window panes and drag it to established positions to create a grouped utility window.  Docked windows are used to cleanly organize display locations.  All charts and displays can be moved to a floating or docked location.

  1. The workspace supports moving both single windows and tabbed window groups.

    1. To move a single window within a tabbed group, click down on the desired tab with the mouse button.
    2. To move an entire window tabbed group OR a single window NOT within a tabbed group, click down on the desired title bar with the mouse button.
  2. Perform the following steps to place the window in a Docked location.

    1. While still holding the mouse button down, move the mouse away from the current location.
    2. The selected window will become undocked and placement indicators will automatically be displayed.
    3. As the mouse is moved around the application, a blue box is displayed to indicate placement location.
    4. Once the desired placement location is identified, release the mouse button.
    5. The selected window will be placed in the blue box location.
    6. The two chart windows are automatically resized to fit in the display.
