Start Application

This section describes how to start the DOT Trader application. 

1. Start the application by double clicking on the "DOT Trader" application icon located on the desktop.
   

   

2. If the icon is not present on the desktop, navigate to the installation directory and double click on the DOTTrader.exe file.
   
   
   1. For Win7 32 bit machines, the  DOTTrader.exe default installation location is "C:\Program Files\DOTTrader".
   2. For Win7 64 bit machines, the DOTTrader.exe default installation location is "C:\Program Files (x86)\DOTTrader".


3. If the following Windows Security Alert is displayed, mouse click on Public networks or Private networks and press the "Allow Access" button.

   



4. If the DTN data feed client is installed, Enter the username and password for the DTN IQFeed and press the "Connect" button.
   
   
   1. Note: DTN IQFeed offers a free 7 day trial, click here to download the DTN IQFeed client application.
   2. Additional data feeds will be added based on client needs.
