Compress

The compress button is used to eliminate gaps in the data and expands the data series across the entire chart window. To enable and disable data compression on a financial chart, perform the following steps.

1. The Compress button is located at the right side of the Financial chart menu bar.



2. The chart below illustrates a financial chart which has a gap in the data.



3. Mouse click on the "Compress" button to make the data fill the chart space.
4. The chart below illustrates a financial chart with the compress button selected.  The data now fills the entire display area.
