Menu Hierarchy

The menu buttons in the Properties Dialog are organized using a hierarchy method.

1. The Engineering Chart Properties Dialog menu buttons are illustrated below. The buttons include:
   
   
   1. Chart
   2. Chart Area
   3. Chart Series
   4. Chart Axis
   5. Chart Legend



2. A sample Engineering chart with four (4) chart areas is illustrated below. 



3. To make style changes to the second data series in the third chart area, perform the following steps.
   
   
   1. Select the third chart area by mouse clicking on the Select Chart Area drop down labeled "ChartArea3".

   

   2. Select the second chart series by mouse clicking on the Select Chart Series drop down labeled "ChartSeries2".

   

   3. Make the desired changes to the chart series. In this example, the fill area color has been changed (for the second data series in the third chart).
