Data Binding
The Data Binding is used to define the data source (either Times & Sales or Level 2 data) and the data type (such as price, volume, message count) that will be displayed in the Engineering Chart.
- To edit the data binding for a data series, select a data series which is located under the TimeSales or L2 data source on left side of the data set designer.

- The Properties control and Binding Paths Y is updated to displayed the selected data series.

- To change the x-axis data type, mouse click on the Binding Path X drop down menu and select the desired data type.
- Only one data type can be defined for the x-axis for each data series.

- To apply the changes, mouse click on the data source which is located on left side of the data set designer.

- To edit the data binding for a data series, select a data series which is located under the TimeSales or L2 data source on left side of the data set designer.

- To change the y-axis data type(s), mouse click on the Binding Path Y check box for the desired data type(s).
- Multiple data types can be defined for the y-axis for each data series. The order of the data types also defines the data series.
- Example: The Bubble chart requires two data types to be selected. The first data type defines the vertical location on a scatter plot and the second data type defines the size of the bubble.
- Example: The High, Low, Open, Close chart requires four data types to be selected.
- Example: The High, Low chart requires two data types to be selected.

- To apply the changes, mouse click on the data source which is located on left side of the data set designer.
